I am a photographer since the beginning of the 70-ies of the last century. As most photographers in these days, I started wih black and white photography.  In this first period I tried out almost every known technique, from pseudo solarisation till platinum prints. I didn't specialise in a specific area and everything I saw was a potential subject. After a few years, however, I became more and more interested in nature photography. This led to a farewell to black and white photography, because I feel that colour in landscape photography is essential. At the end of the 80-ies I started with the production of multi-projector slide shows, which I presented all over The Netherlands. Since 2005, when I completely stepped over to digital photography, I stopped using slide projectors and now I only give HDAV (high Definition Audio Visual) presentations with electronic projectors (beamers).  

For the equipment freaks under you: I work with digital Canon equipment with lenses ranging from 17 mm tot 500 mm, both prime and zoom lenses. Most of my photography is done from heavy tripods to achieve optimum sharpness and to get a perfect composition.
